Plants in Ohio

Plant evidence Scoped by documented range and hardiness — independent of any construction code.

Ohio's 919 documented records make the deepest state pool here, grouped into 429 plant groups across a tight 6a-to-7a zone band.

Depth needs discipline: the split explains what each bar counts and why no bar is a grade, and the controls turn nine hundred records into a shortlist for one yard.

Plant groups documented in Ohio

Each bar splits one genus's cited records — listed fire-resistant, keep away, in conflict, not yet classified — and never rates the genus. The default is a record-share filter, not a rating: choose “All record splits” to see every documented group. 92 of these groups have no sourced common name, so the card shows the Latin genus.
