Places

One landing per state, spanning the whole directory: sourced construction records, the application scopes we can document, local differences, and plant evidence for what grows there. Product and plant URLs stay national — a state page assembles the relevant evidence without turning a state source into a parcel determination. The typed place tree is at /places.json.

51 states carry a sourced construction status (4 live, 3 coming-soon, 44 honestly none — each cited). The rest say "not yet reviewed": we publish only what we can cite, and a missing status is never a claim that no rules exist. Plant evidence is complete for every state. A ZIP supplies a postal location lead, never a legal-boundary answer.

Enter a ZIP instead of scanning every place. We will resolve the best available state, county, or city briefing without treating a postal match as a legal boundary. All 53 state pages remain available.
