How we write

Pages should be easy to find, easy to understand, and complete enough to act on. New industry words go in the glossary first. We do not add words to look thorough. We add the facts a careful reader still needs.

Standards we follow

Words we keep stable

Listed is not approved. A listing is not adopted code. Adopted code is not an HOA spec. Mesh is a prescriptive path. ASTM E2886 is a test method. Zone 0 is the first five feet.

When a page is done

You can name the paths, the document that decides, the usual false shortcut, and the Oregon or California difference if we know it. You should not need three government PDFs to reconstruct the rule. You should not wade through a story to find the rule.
