What applies in Hawaii
Hawaii does not adopt a statewide WUI construction book. The State Building Code Council’s adopted state codes are the 2018 IRC, IBC, IECC, IEBC, UPC, and NEC, and the 2024 NFPA 1 State Fire Code. IWUIC is not on that list. Confirm with the building official.
