Delaware legislates construction by county option — 16 Del. C. § 7601 lets counties adopt building codes, § 7602 sets the statewide energy code — and neither statute is a wildfire book. What applies to your house rests on the model floor and the national programs.

No county has a sourced wildfire construction application, and what we can't tell you yet says so without embellishment.

For a small state the plant file is large: 756 records documented across USDA half-zones 7a through 8a, 171 flagged invasive or noxious. Living here does the sorting.

What applies in Delaware

Delaware does not adopt a statewide WUI construction book. 16 Del. C. § 7601 lets counties adopt building, plumbing, and electrical codes. § 7602 is the statewide energy-conservation code. IWUIC is not those statutes. Confirm with the building official.

No exact code-application record is normalized for this state. A source node alone does not activate requirements.
