Louisiana does not adopt a statewide WUI construction book. RS 40:1730.28 requires the council to adopt only IBC, IEBC, IRC, IMC, IPC, IFGC, IECC, and NEC as the State Uniform Construction Code. The 1 August 2026 LUCCC Title 17 compilation follows that list. IWUIC is not on it. Confirm with the building official.
