What applies in Michigan

Michigan does not adopt a statewide WUI construction book. BCC’s current code books are the 2021 Michigan Building Code, 2015 Michigan Residential Code, 2021 Michigan Rehabilitation Code, 2021 Michigan Mechanical and Plumbing Codes, 2021 Michigan Commercial Energy Code, 2015 Michigan Energy Code, and 2023 NEC. IWUIC is not on that list. Confirm with the building official.
