Tennessee's fire marshal keeps a broad shelf — IBC 2021, IRC 2018, the fire and energy codes, and named NFPA standards — and no wildfire interface book on it. So wildfire construction keeps to the countrywide baseline, unpacked at what applies to your house.

County and municipal wildfire adoptions are unsourced; what we can't tell you yet records that in one line.

What applies in Tennessee

Tennessee does not adopt a statewide WUI construction book. The State Fire Marshal’s currently adopted codes are IBC 2021, IRC 2018, IFGC, IMC, IPC, IPMC, and IFC 2021, IECC 2021 commercial / 2018 residential, IEBC 2021, NFPA 101 for named board-and-care facilities, and NEC 2017. IWUIC is not on that list. Confirm with the building official.
