Illinois
Program and model
No statewide construction book — sourced
One local briefing, built from separate evidence layers: what the state has published, where an instrument is documented to apply, what still depends on a map or project fact, and which plant records are documented in Illinois. A ZIP personalizes priority; it does not decide a parcel boundary.
What is established here
Illinois does not adopt a statewide WUI construction book. Public Act 103-0510 amends the Capital Development Board Act to set a 1 January 2025 baseline of IBC, IEBC, and IRC for local structural design. CDB’s code summary also names the Illinois Energy Conservation Code, Accessibility Code, Plumbing Code, and Fire Prevention and Safety Rules. IWUIC is not on that list. Confirm with the building official.
What is not established
A ZIP in Illinois is a postal match, not a parcel, map, or permit. No city or county briefing is open here yet.
Plants documented in Illinois
602 plant records documented in the state. 0 explicitly document Illinois as native range. 155 carry an invasive or noxious flag applying here. 0 fire-evidence sources name Illinois in publication scope.
