Cone calorimeter testing of vegetation — an update

USDA Forest Service (White, Weise, Mackes & Dibble). This registry entry connects 15 plant records to 15 normalized source rows. It is primary fire evidence whose independent lineage can affect a fire classification. Evidence kind: lab-tested; lineage: usfs-fpl-cone-tree.

The conclusion explicitly names high- and low-relative-flammability taxa. Verdict map: author-named high = avoid; author-named low = recommend; other exactly identified and measured Colorado taxa = mixed. Table 4 green-sample PHRR is preserved as score and dry-sample EHOC is preserved in each claim.

Complete public full text is hosted by USDA Forest Service. Fourteen exact Colorado taxa were ingested; Artemisia sp. was excluded because it is only identified to genus. The California and Northeast datasets are excluded from this extraction because later papers in the same USFS-FPL cone-calorimeter program report them. White/Dibble/Weise author and method overlap means all such rows remain one usfs-fpl-cone-tree vote.

Each row names the evidence channel this source supports. Range, status, hardiness, and fire-ecology context remain separate from fire classification.
