Shakertown documents Dolly Varden as engineered tongue-and-groove cedar paneling in nominal 4- and 6-inch widths with Micro-V or Fine Line edges. Current CAL FIRE OSFM listing 8140-2032:0003 covers horizontal or vertical exterior-wall siding tested to SFM 12-7A-1, while listing 8160-2032:0004 separately covers horizontal soffits tested to SFM 12-7A-3.
Page 2 carries a dimensioned section (5-1/4" / 3-1/4" face top and bottom, 11/16" thickness, 1/8" reveal) beside a specification block that publishes the face widths, the actual thickness and both profile names. The face widths are the rhythm dimension and there are two of them.

The wall and soffit listings are separate. Wall listing 8140-2032:0003 names SFM 12-7A-1 and permits horizontal or vertical installation; soffit listing 8160-2032:0004 names SFM 12-7A-3 and is horizontal-only. Do not transfer a test or orientation between them.
The current OSFM listing names SFM 12-7A-3. Shakertown's current product page separately names ASTM E2957 for direct-to-joist WUI soffits; the two methods are not interchangeable. Obtain the applicable report and verify its specimen and acceptance conditions.
The OSFM soffit listing is horizontal-only and covers specified species, six-ply construction, 11/16-inch true thickness, and 4- through 20-foot lengths. Match the exact panel, edge, framing, fasteners, joints, finish, and installation instructions to the current data sheet.
