2024 IWUIC Class 1 wall-base flashing path
The unamended 2024 IWUIC model code specifies a six-inch vertical metal or noncombustible wall-base detail at ground, deck, and roof intersections for Class 1 construction.
A product can document role, height, and material only. Continuity, intersections, fastening, compatibility, and the locally adopted detail remain project checks.
