Shoot flammability patterns in native and exotic street tree species at the WUI of eastern Australia

Fire (Huber-Smith, Morley, Krix, Murray et al.; University of Technology Sydney). This registry entry connects 10 plant records to 10 normalized source rows. It is primary fire evidence whose independent lineage can affect a fire classification. Evidence kind: lab-tested; lineage: uts-murray-tree.

The paper finds that rankings across time-to-flame, flame duration, number of flaming events, and flame temperature are not concordant. Verdict map: the sole taxon the authors identify across attributes as a potential low-flammability street-tree candidate = recommend; every other measured taxon = mixed. No per-attribute extreme is promoted to an overall verdict.

Public full text is available from the UTS repository and the OA publisher. All ten species are represented. Krix and Murray recur across the UTS program, so this is one uts-murray-tree vote. The burner design follows the Jaureguiberry/Wyse method, but there is no author or dataset overlap with the Lincoln papers; method adoption alone does not merge those lineages.

Each row names the evidence channel this source supports. Range, status, hardiness, and fire-ecology context remain separate from fire classification.
