Table 1 reports five continuous variables for four live-fuel taxa at similar moisture content and 50 kW/m²: TTI, PHRR, AEHC, MLR, and THR. The authors publish no overall taxon class or composite rank. Rows are therefore direct laboratory evidence with verdict not-rated; all five means and repeatability standard deviations remain in claims.

Tier 1 bench-scale study from the INIA-CIFOR laboratory. Component directions conflict, so deriving a recommend/avoid verdict would invent a weighting rule. Pinus pinaster uses live needles; the understory shrubs use leaves and fine twigs under 1 cm. Same inia-madrid-tree lineage as the earlier Spanish laboratory program.
