CAL FIRE’s Office of the State Fire Marshal lists “Nusku Fireblocker” fingerjoint redwood ceiling cladding in category 8160. The covered products are Tongue & Groove and Shiplap profiles with a minimum nominal dimension of 1x4, installed over standard 7/16-inch oriented strand board, plywood, or gypsum. The manufacturer’s installation instructions and product data sheet remain part of that construction scope.
The September 2, 2025 OSFM WUI Listed Products Handbook included the listing. CAL FIRE’s live record showed it as listed on August 25, 2026 and expiring June 30, 2027. It identifies SFM 12-7A-3 as the test protocol. The approval therefore belongs to that exact cladding product, configuration, and eave category; it does not establish that every Nusku product or a modified installation is listed.
