IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home Base Class A roof covering

The current IBHS Base standard specifies a Class A roof covering tested to ASTM E108 or UL 790.

This is a program requirement, not an adopted building code. The cited classification must apply to the exact roof configuration; debris removal and profile closures are separate requirements in the same standard.
