Table 4 reports Valette's 0-5 flammability value (VI) separately from the combustion-intensity index (IC). Verdicts use VI only: 0-1 (non/poorly flammable) = recommend; 2-3 (moderately flammable/flammable) = mixed; 4-5 (highly/extremely flammable) = avoid. IC is retained only as a measurement.

Complete Portuguese full text, English abstract, and species Tables 3-4 are openly published by Embrapa. Four candidate species and the Pinus taeda control are represented. Batista, Tetto, Kovalsyki, and Tres overlap the 2013 UFPR experiment, so the papers share one ufpr-cortinas-tree vote.
