Ten species were compared in three replicated outdoor 1 m² burns. Tables 6-9 report ignition attempts/time, flame height, combustibility index, spread rate, fire intensity, and severity. Only Cnidoscolus quercifolius and Aristida adscensionis receive explicit overall flammability conclusions.

Leaves and branches no more than 0.7 cm in diameter were air-dried for 30 days; each treatment used 9 kg of fuel. Cnidoscolus quercifolius did not sustain flame spread, so it is absent from the later metric tables and its fire intensity is described as zero.
