The redwood boards must be at least nominal 5/4 inch thick and nominal 6 inches wide, with an edge radius no greater than 3/8 inch. Their grade must be construction common, commercial or better. Support them on minimum 2-by-6-inch solid Douglas Fir or better joists, spaced 24 inches or less on center. Both decking and joists must comply with American Softwood Lumber Standard PS 20.
The listing requires Class B flame spread under ASTM E84 and identifies SFM 12-7A-4A as the test protocol.
