Unity's eased-edge Red Grandis decking has a lapsed listing with specified joists, a maximum gap and an attached-wall requirement.
The 8110-2094:0106 description names ungrooved material nominally 1 by 6 inches, with 7/8-by-5-1/2-inch dimensions in parentheses, or wider. The supporting Douglas fir joists are nominal 2 by 6 inches, spaced at 16-inch centers; board edges may be no more than 3/16 inch apart. The width allowance does not remove the joist and gap conditions.
SFM 12-7A-4A is the source's protocol. The source separately says ASTM E84 was not conducted. Its wall requirement calls for noncombustible or ignition-resistant covering on the attached exterior wall.
This listing appeared in the September 2025 handbook but was absent from the August 25, 2026 BML check. The reason for its disappearance remains unresolved. Confirm current GOVmotus coverage before specifying the Red Grandis product; use Unity's installation instructions and product data sheets to examine the stated historical assembly without assigning it an ASTM E84 flame-spread class.
