The exact instruction "Avoid juniper, mugo pine and arborvitae" maps the taxon-resolvable Juniperus genus and Pinus mugo species to avoid.

The guide is adapted from the University of Nevada Living With Fire program. It has no plant table, but its Lean, Clean and Green Area tips contain a direct avoid sentence. Juniper and mugo pine support exact GBIF identities; arborvitae and the guide's other cedar/redcedar wording are held because the common names do not safely identify a single taxon. A currently indexed Western Nebraska companion timed out during retrieval, so no facts were reconstructed from its search result.
