CAL FIRE OSFM listing 4310-2283:0500 covers SOL-R-SKIN beneath named stone-coated steel or concrete tile roof systems, while WUI listing 8180-2283:0501 covers the Class A underlayment and foil seam tape beneath Isaiah Industries Kassel Shake at a 5:12 slope. 4.5-foot by 100-foot, 45-pound roll for assembly-specific roof applications
Class A is assembly-specific, not an inherent rating for every roof placed over SOL-R-SKIN. Match the exact BML listing, deck, seam tape, underlayment attachment, roof covering, battens, fasteners, and slope.
In manufacturer-hosted Intertek report 103495318MID-001, the standing-seam metal assembly had flaming beneath the deck and no acceptance level, while the tested CF stone-coated shingle and Antica Pisa stone-coated tile assemblies met Class A criteria. Do not generalize the passing assemblies to every metal, shingle, or tile roof.
ASTM E84 Class A/Class 1 surface-burning language is not an ASTM E108 Class A roof assembly.
OSFM listing is not a permit. The authority having jurisdiction decides.
