Local adoption Prescott adopted 2024 IWUIC. This is the rule.

The rule

Adopted “shall be tempered glass, multilayered glazed panels, glass block or have a fire protection rating”

IWUIC Class 1–2 multilayered glazing. The unamended 2024 IWUIC model code includes multilayered glazed panels as one exterior glazing path in Class 1 and Class 2 construction.
