2024 IWUIC roof-profile eave-closure path
The unamended 2024 IWUIC model code requires profile spaces at roof eave ends to block flame and ember entry or use the named cap-sheet path.
A closure product addresses only the eave-end space. The roof class, deck, firestopping or cap sheet, fastening, geometry, and adopted local text remain separate checks.
