Austin 2024 IWUIC Zones A, B, and C gutter noncorrosive-material addition
Austin retains the model noncombustible gutter-and-downspout rule and separately requires gutter material to be noncorrosive and noncombustible in all three proximity zones.
A product match covers only gutter role, noncombustibility, and corrosion resistance. The separately stated approved means to prevent leaf and debris accumulation, plus attachment, drainage, official zone, and project scope, remain assembly and official checks.
Published requirement text
“Gutters shall be provided with an approved means to prevent the accumulation of leaves and debris in the gutter and be constructed of a non-corrosive and non-combustible material.”
