IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home 0–5 foot hardscape
The 2025 IBHS Base standard removes combustible groundcover within five feet and permits named noncombustible hardscape materials.
A product material can address the hardscape line. Site layout, debris, vegetation, weed cloth, and movable items still require a parcel-level review.
