IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home Plus solid noncombustible deck surface
The current IBHS Plus retrofit path specifies a solid noncombustible deck walking surface with no gaps.
A walking-surface product does not decide the framing, railings, stairs, post bases, structure, drainage, load path, or installation. New-construction requirements cover all deck components.
