IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home Plus solid-core exterior-door path

The current IBHS Plus standard includes a solid-core exterior-door path with minimum thickness and a noncombustible threshold.

This record covers the solid-core path only. Door glazing, frame, jamb, perimeter gaps, hardware, and installation remain separate checks.

“solid-core wood not less than 1-¾ inches thick (44 mm). The exterior doors shall be constructed with noncombustible threshold.”
